Using practices and principles from the dharma, this group will offer a space for white sangha members to investigate the way racialized conditioning shows up in our thoughts, feelings, actions and community. Together we will explore what it means to support one another in anti-racism work, individually and as a sangha. Gatherings will include meditation, embodied practice, discussion, and reflection.
Questions we will explore include: What is our stake in dismantling white supremacy? How can we cultivate anti-racist culture in our sangha, and other white-dominated spaces? How do we maintain a commitment to this work over time?
No previous experience is necessary. We welcome anyone willing to engage with an open heart and mind, and to support others in doing the same. The group will be capped at 8 participants (plus facilitators). This series will be offered freely; donations to support the facilitators are welcome and not required.
Please note: This series is currently full. Please register to be added to our waitlist, and/or to be notified of the next time we offer it.
